Studio Flash with Mark II

After much trial (and a great deal of error!), I discovered that the little
distance guide is accurate if I use its *left* window with my Vivitar 283
at full power (manual mode). It also works nicely for fill flash if you
follow the camera's instruction manual. The Mark II must have been designed
with fairly powerful flash units in mind. I hope this helps.
