I re-read my post and I hope I didn't sound arrogant. No
offense intended.
Commercial morphing programs can do a kind of interpolation.
You designate a net of homologous points and lines on the
two images of a stereopair and the program does as many
intermediate views as you'd like. One problem with this
is surfaces which are hidden in one image but not the other
(or hidden in both but would normally be visible in an
intermediate view). Another is blur.
