NSA Convention summer only

My original post on this subject was damaged in transmission. I wrote
that I'd prefer late September, October, or even November, or March,
April or May.  I hate to leave Alaska in the summer (paradise here,
not there) and three airline tickets for my family costs over $2400.
It would be nice to include visits to family in the lower 48 states.
But extended stays in the summer outside and I get no Alaska summer.
Maybe some of the convention dates in the south could be planned for
spring or fall or winter.
