Rev. T's mounting skills

I recently had the pleasure of seeing two of Terry's slides which came from
his first stereo camera, acquired just a few weeks ago. The photography
was great, exposure right on, depth, composition, all excellent. The
slides were mounted in the heat-seal cardboard mounts and the mounting was
PERFECT. One cannot ask for anything more...
It is a personal observation that, at the end, it does not
matter what mounting medium you use but how you use it. There is a
potential of using cardboard and doing excellent job. You could be using
expensive aluminum or plastic with poor results.
In many cases it is a matter of taste, price and other factors and not
appearance of the final product. Before you decide what to use, try all
the available mounts and see what you like, taking into account all the
factors involved.
