stereoview query

There is a series of cards I find occasionally that I like very much but know
little or nothing about.  just got a bunch at a flea market at a very good
price.    They are yellow ,square edged cards , mostly nature scenes , all taken
in England, Scotland or Ireland.  They're  beautifully done , very dark black
tones  the photos are also square at the edge and the photography is excellent.
Many have small printed labels on the reverse, describing the locations but that
is all.  Pretty sure they are of English manufacture but does anyone else know
more?
