The Romans had a saying for this.  It goes: "De gustibus non disputandem".
In english it means approximately "There is no arguing with taste".  If
you think they are "garbage", vote with your wallet and don't buy them.

I bought my cameras to use.  I intended to shoot a number of scenes with
each camera, on the same film, and compare the results.  As I get familiar
with each of them, I will probably develop favorites in terms of ease-of-
use, and also in image quality.  I may then sell the others, who knows?
Then again I may keep them.  They are nice pieces of engineering, and I
enjoy taking them out and looking at them.  So sue me.

But face it.  These cameras are a limited-availability item.  The supply
is diminishing; it will never again increase.  That means that the prices
will inevitably rise so long as there is any demand for them by either
collectors OR users.
