Realist format & me # 1

First, let me apologize for my response to Dan's posting, which was 
definitely out of track.  

I would like to suggest that, even though quotations are generally abused, 
if one is going to critique one's writings so emotionally, perhaps 
quotations should be used so that everyone knows what is exactly being 
critiqued.  

In this case (and please Dan correct me if I am wrong) it appears that Dan 
was commenting not on just one of my postings but on my general philosophy 
of 3-d, as expressed via my numerous photo-3d postings and filtered through 
Dan's "eyes".

Dan's wrote about my "personal favorite", "Realist type slides" and talked 
about rejecting "all other types of 3D (other than Realist)".  This got me 
thinking about my personal preferences and I immediately ran into a problem 
of definitions.

What exactly is the "Realist format"?  How many types of 3-d imaging are 
around?  How can these types be neatly classified?

I will like to break down a long posting to several smaller so please
stay with me...
