3d aesthetics

i spent an hour or so trying to say this the shortest way possible, so :

1) i agree with George T. about the problems and pursuits of 3d excellence

2) i am not interested artistically in the reproduction of reality, but 
rather in its interpretation

3) aside from the illusion of reality, what does stereoscopic photography 
have to offer artistically, who has achieved it in the past, and where 
can i find their work.  Has anything been published?

4) i mean absolutely no criticism or denigration of anyone else's form of 
3-d enjoyment. We all deserve and need our hobbies (?obsessions).  There 
are even forms of 3-d i enjoy viewing, but would not want to produce myself.
