I knew strontium-90 would do that - plutonium will too? (I believe people
living in an area of radioactive fallout are supposed to ingest preparations
of iodine and possibly strontium, to reduce the amount of the radioactive
isotopes that the body takes up.)

For those who would like to get the dust off their film by a method that
may not require a license from the NRC :-)...

Electronics engineers sometimes use devices which blow ionized air into a
work area. I get the impression that the ions are produced electrically,
and there seems to be a high valuation on getting a proper electrical balance.
I just came across an ad for a "high-performance ionizing blow-off gun"
calle the Z-Stat(TM) AirForce. The ad claims that it's good for "static control
and particle removal". The company is called Ion Systems, and it lists the
phone numbers 1-800-367-2452 and 510-548-3640.

Disclaimer: I never heard of the company before. Devices of this type are
usually fairly expensive (compared to a camel hair brush and a rubber bulb)
:-)
