WinCam.One camera?

Does any one have any experience with the WinCam.One Digital Desktop
Camera?  Up to this date I have been taking pictures for my viewer
books and flyers using my SLR and a macro lens, print film & processing,
scanning, printing and cutting & pasting (manual) in text.  I wonder
if this digital camera will help reduce the time delay and improve
quality or give me better control over the final image?

Also, apprarenlty it will scan slides and I wonder how good of
a job it does in doing so (in scanning 3-d slides, of course!)

Any info/comments will be appreciated.  Please respond directly to
DrT-3d@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx if you feel that the subject is not of much
interest for stereo photographers.
