Camera Obscura del Arky
A couple of years ago while in Hot Springs, Arkansas I visited the
technology type museum called (I believe) the "Mid-America Museum"
or something like that. One of the exibits was a camera obscura.
It was nicely done. The "pinhole" looked like a wide field copier
lens with an aperture of about 3.5". The "film plane" was a curved
white wall and seemed to work quite well.
Now if one constructed a similar room and used TWO lenses with
polarizers to project overlapping immages on to a silver screen
could one hang like a bat and view a gigantic 3-d landscape? I've
not been following this thread closely. Has anyone else suggested
such a thing or is it just me?
