I didn't receive any replies last time I posted this, so I'll try once more.

Does anyone have a copy of " Traite Pratique de Photographie Stereoscopique
" by Charles Fabre Paris 1906 ?
I had my hands on this book as few years ago in Vietnam and am kicking
myself for not trying to buy it. It was one of the best stereo books I'd
ever seen for cameras, viewers and optics of the time. There were around 300
pages all filled with lithos. I did manage to photocopy some of the pages,
but resources at the time were limited. I didn't copy the index or bibliography.

Also does anybody out there own the Ontoscope Stereo/Panoramic camera ? It's
the 6x13 version with the Cornu 120 rollback. I have one that I use, but
it's missing a back lock lever and the focus scale, which I want to
duplicate. I also want to know what the lever on the back with the "B" and
"L" are for. The focus scale has two arrows, one with a "C" and one with an
"M", another mystery. If anyone has in info I'd appreciate it.Apparantly
there is an identical one for sale at " Collectables" in London. If there's
any Londoner's out there perhaps they might know if it's still for sale.

Does anyone have a review of the following stereo book:

Human Engineering in Stereoscopic Viewing Devices, by Daniel B. Diner

It's $59.50 US plus postage ($ 4.95 to Canada)
from Plenum Publishing Co, Dept. K16, 233 Spring Street, NY, NY 10013-1578.
TEL # (212) 620-8000 FAX (212) 807-1047

Is it worthwhile ?

Sam
