1996 Electronic Entertainment Expo

On Friday, 5/17, I had the pleasure of attending the 1996 3-E (Electronic
Entertainment Expo) convention in Los Angeles.  The convention featured all
the latest video game hardware and software headed for the consumer market
in the next few months.  There were many new 3-D and virtual reality -
products featured, some very good, some not...  There  video games used the
simple red/green 3-D glasses while others used advanced virtual reality
technology.  The VR systems were great!

I was very surprised to see Nintendo's Virtual Boy at the show... the
Nintendo reps said the unit is still in production and has not been
discontinued.  in fact, several new games will be out in the next few
months.  They had no idea why Blockbuster was clearing out their product.
The new Nintendo 64, 32 bit system is great!
