Saw this on the web. Fascinated me, thought some of you might enjoy
this news about 3D film tweaking... =)

"In a cinematic first, all footage from Terminator 2: 3-D, both
computerized and live action, will be run through a digital processor,
a precedent-setting move that Cameron and others see as a harbinger of
production techniques of the future. "Because we're dealing with images
inside a computer, we can adjust the interoccular to minute degrees to
determine how far things will come out of the screen," says the
project's managing art director Darren Gilford. "We pushed it as far as
it could go, which is basically till your eyeballs almost pop out of
your head!" As the first 3-D production to take full advantage of
digital technology, Terminator 2: 3-D far exceeds in sophistication any
3-D effort that has gone before. "This really is the best 3-D that's
ever been shot, "Gilford testifies."
