Hey there 3d-ers!

I have a big question concerning anaglyph prints (sorry, just a basic question from a newbie...):

I want to take an anaglyph print that'll look good using cheap red/blue viewers. I tried several things with not a single great result yet:

1) using the filters in the glasses: but there seems to be a lot of interference due to cross-talk when using the same filters to view the print; the colors are too intense it seems - the viewers filters are not absorbing enough of the undesired images. I need to overlap several pairs of viewers to more easily see the 3d effect. So, it's NOT as simple as using the same filters in taking an anaglyph as for viewing it, which seemed to be the obvious solution at first. *:/

2) I tried filters of lower color densities. Problem is, when the filter used to take the negative is too light-colored, you end up with more "real-color" image than pure-red/blue images. And hence, major cross-talk.

So, how is it possible (if at all) to take decent anaglyph prints?????!

All the net samples do not serve as examples for me, since prints are entirely different than images on a screen OR projected via slides for that matter. I want to do slides eventually, but I'd really like to be able to take a working print first.

There seems to be a lack of info or chat about this on the net, including the stereo club chit chat. Do you guys only take slides? ;)

Thanks to the brave person who can help me here...!
