George, after reading about the benefits of these frosted bulbs, I
decided to try it myself. I made a mess of everything. The result was
a totally diffused light all right, but the frosting kept slipping off
the bulb and oozing onto the contacts. The lady at the store said
Betty Crocker was the best frosting I could buy. What brand do you
use?

Now I've really messed it up. I tried shortening the bulb but the
shortening melted even faster than the frosting, and the folks at
Crisco won't pay for the viewer!

I've got to clean this goo off my fingers.
Heading back to the kitchen,
Bill Davis
