This is an early Realist and must have the Ilex Paragon lenses.
My guess is that it was made in 1948.  As I mentioned in an earlier
posting, I recently purchaced a Realist with SN 9368 with Ilex lenses.
Correspondence from the David White Company is dated Oct. 1949.  One
of my earliest Realist has SN 1279. Ron Zakowski can tell you the
exact date that each Realist was produced.

Bill, it's good to see that you are expanding your photography...
Now it is John Vala's turn to get a stereo camera... (from the 50s!)
Bill joined the Detroit Stereographic Society this year and got a lot
of awards with his computer stereographic art... He is getting ready
to give us a hard time next year... I guess now it is my turn to
get into computer 3-d.... ;)
