binocular parts/stereo


I have an ancient B&H binocular microscope that has interocular
adjustment. It looks like the mechanical/mirror system, with the right
lenses, might work as a stereo head with a very small stereo base. Has
anyone ever experimented with this? I have partially torn down the
microscope to clean it, but I hate to destroy its function as a microscope
if the project is impractical.
