Narrow Mounting... Yup!

      I tend to agree with George about mounting 7/8 perf down to 5 perf...
as a matter of fact, I often chose 4 perf for a lot of my images!
     Maybe that's why I still use the modified Nimslo a lot... of course it's
light, auto-exposure, fixed focus, too. But then, it's "nearsighted",
uncontrollable exposure, small max aperture. But great composition for people
and other subjects.

     I'm still drawn to wider original formats so as to have the option for
cropping in mounting, though... for those situations where time for
consideration of the composition is less than optimum or where I change my
mind at the mounting table.
     Maybe it just lets me be sloppy at the time of shooting. :=)

     I'm thinking the wider formats demand *determined* attention to
composing for the full frame to avoid wanting to crop more narrow later. Just
think of the compositional dilemmas of the stereo panoramist!
