I am here to wash out George's mouth with soap, for calling closeup 
lenses (prismatic or otherwise) "Filters". This is an absurdity fostered 
by imbecile counter clerks I suppose and ignorant customers. If it 
doesn't filter it isn't a filter. The fact that is does go in a filter 
retaining ring doesn't make it a filter. <G> Pet Peeve #721. BobH
