NSA SHOW

  • From: P3D Bill Davis <bd3d@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>
  • Subject: NSA SHOW
  • Date: Fri, 14 Jun 1996 17:24:35 -0700

Neal Anderson asked:

>Would someone please post info (dates, times, location, etc.) about
>the upcoming NSA show?

I guess that's my cue. I am on the planning commitee for NSA '96 and
have a bit of info. One thing that is important to note is that this
Convention is open to ANYONE, not just NSA members. The price is the
same for non-memmbers, too.

Stereo Projection Theater
Three Days of 3-D Slide Programs August 2, 3 & 4 Lilac Ballroom
North, Riverside Convention Center
You are invited to take a journey with us around the world and across
time. A festival of spectacular 3-D programs from photographers
around the world, these are three days of the finest 3-D photography
(stereography) on the planet, all projected on a 21-foot wide screen

photography, from beautifully rendered and carefully preserved antique
views that were "the television of the 19th century" to rare
View-Master treasures to the breathtaking work of the world's best
contemporary stereo photographers and on to the rapidly developing and
astounding art of computer-generated images, all these programs are
projected in full, true, reach-out-and-touch-it 3-D! ( Polarized
glasses included with registration).

Confirmed programs at press time include Manly and Lois Koehler's "Wide
Screen Extravaganza", a View-Master presentation from the Stereo Club

post-earthquake Osaka and Kobe, a voyage to Antarctica, underwater
macro work, and much more. Special Note: Registrants are invited to
bring slides for "Show and Tell", an informal viewing session in the
Stereo Theatre on Sunday afternoon. Anything you'd like to share will
be fine, but we'd particularly like to see slides from previous

REGISTER NOW!
We would like to pre-register as many as possible! Pre-registered is
the way to go, as the manpower required to generate all of the badges,
stickers, packets, etc. on-site really slows things down, and wouldn't
you much rather be watching a slide presentation than standing in a
line waiting to register? Mail in that entry form today!

Thanks to Bill Tribelhorn, Dick Twichell and Jim Dusen for their help
in compiling this information.

Bill Davis, NSA '96

------------------------------------------------------------------------

An important thing for non-NSA members to note is that these prices are
the same whether you're a member of NSA or not. Good Deal!

I think this covers it all. NSA members will be receiving
application/registration forms with the next Stereo World. Again, if
you are not a member of the NSA (or if you are and don't wish to put
your trust in the delivery of the next Stereo World), please send a
message to me at:

             NSA '96
942 Gaywood Lane, Webster, NY 14580

Or call 716-671-7707, Fax 716-787-3049 or e-mail: bd3d@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

and I'll send out a packet.

>I just joined the NSA, but it'll be a while
>before I receive anything from them.

Oh, probably.

>Thanks.
> Neal

Best Regards,
Bill Davis
