Jim Crowell says:
<Non-archival plastics outgas their plasticizers. "Plasticizers" are
the chemicals (usually <solvents) in some plastics that make them soft.
As the plasticizers are lost, the <plastics become hard and often
brittle.
Brittle? As in my View Master classic storage boxes?
Does anyone have information as to the "archival" value of these items?
Are they "outgassing" while I'm "outshooting"?
Also awhile ago someone wrote about using Zeiss Proxar Series V close-
up lenses with the VM Personal. If anyone has tried it please be so
kind as to fill us in on your findings.
And if you found these elusive little buggers, please fill me in on
where to get them.
