Re: Coincident fields of view

Our group has been using the term "coincident" to describe the plane segment
where both fields of view see exactly the same points.  The term "convergence"
is misleading.  The most recent video camera we built has one adjustment for
focus, and one for coincidence.  In effect, one could say that the coincidence
adjustment "sets the stereo window".  (I will not discuss lens
distortions.)							Gregg
