FED M stereo camera

Hai, 
I'am new to this list, and also new to 3D photography, although not new to
photography. If interested you can check out my Home Page, which has
examples of Infrared, Panorama, Travel, Studio and "Digital" photography.

I'am in the process of buying a complete russian FED set(camera,
projector, screen glasses). How is your experience with it ?  As a good
cybercitizen ( ;-)  )I downloaded the FAQ (thanks for that!), and could
retrieve some info., but I like to know a bit more: is it working
properly, what are the things to pay (extra ) attention too ( I know a bit
about Russian equipment, the are not always functioning properly, to put
it mildly). The man who is trying to import and sell to me is asking about
500 dutch guilders (good condition, new), (about 250 USD), a fair price?

Also I would like to now if there is expercience with Adobe Photoshop to 
prepear a set of stereo slides ( by using "offset"?).
