Is water archival?

i think i have a solution (sorry)

what we need to do is _process_ the slides in solutions made with water from
one of the reactors, laced as it is, (oh sure) with Plutonium. Then the
resultant slides will not only be self illuminated (for us gamma gazers)
but the constant stream of ions generated by the decay products will
neutralize static, and kill harmful mold and fungus, and we won't
have to store them in anything fancier than a paper bag.

Plus, of course, you can save up the discards, and use them in a bunch to
heat your coffee water, or all the P3D'ers can pool our discards and
assemble a critical mass and take over the earth, and decree that
'3d' must refer to real stereoscopic images...yeah, thats the ticket.

too much caffeine
