This is just a quick note for those on the list who like lenticular
animations (it's 3-d if you consider time a dimension)... The official
program for the 1996 summer games has a truly cool animated Olympic flame,
which flickers, and the date switches back and forth between 1996 and 1896..
.$9.95 cover price, should be available now...
BTW, does anyone out there have any experience with intentionally soft-
focusing 3-d images?  I am considering shooting a sculpture and want to
soften the textures to create a more romantic impressionistic feeling...
without losing the 3-d-ness.
