New 3D format?

I just received a general interest catalog (Lifestyle Fascination)
which I've noted because they always carry IT's 3D Wizard.

In the latest issue they are selling what looks to be a new
viewer system called 3Discover.

>From the discription and photos it appears to be a lighted
viewer for looking a strip of 35mm film. The film
cassettes look like an elongated Instamatic cartridge.
The openings appear to be standard 8 perf but the images
I can make out appear to be 5 perf. They offer 2 titles
containing "10 panoramic Images" and the viewer for $50.

What is known about this?

They are also selling something called "RealView" which
claims to "enhance depth perception" when watching
TV and movies. It's a pair of glasses but they don't
contain any electronics.

Any clues about this one?

Thanks,
