Holographic Virtual Reality Game

At the weekend 20/7/96 I saw a electronic game in an Index store. I cant
remember its name but I think it was VR something and it had what was
called a holographic virtual reality display with a built in light to
illuminate it. I suspect the hologram does not move and is a background for
a moving LCD display ,the game was based on the film Congo and you "dodge
gray gorillas around holographic rocks. Does anyone know more about this
