That kind of thing is intended for viewing aerial photos.  Works fine for that,
but a bit pricey for what you get...  You can get about the same thing for 
1/10th the price from:

They also carry the more expensive models up to $2350.00.  Useful stuff if 
you're into professional photogrammetric mapping & stare through one for hours
at a time.  For most hobby/student applications, I'd suggest the $5.40 model.
