I have found the perfect voltage converter that allows US stereo
projectors to be used in the rest of the world:

International Converter / Adapter Set ONLY 20 US$!
       -------------------------------------

Converts 240V to 120V which allows the use of 120V USA appliances (like
stereo projectors from the 50s) in 240V foreign plugs. The rating of
the converter is 50-1600 Watts. This is a small light-weight solid
state converter. It must be doing strange things to the waveform
because it is for use with hair dryers, coffee makers, clothes irons,
etc., and NOT computers or other electronic devices. This makes it
perfect for stereo projectors using one or a pair of 500W bulbs and
possibly up to a pair of 750W bulbs.

In addition to the small lightweight 50-1600 Watt converter which will
plus as-is in most European countries, the set comes with five different
color-coded polarized adapter plugs for the following countries:

- UK (UK must be using lots of weird plugs!)
- UK, Africa, Ireland
- N/S America, Japan
- Europe, Middle East
- Australia, China N. Zealand

With this baby you can carry your stereo projector all over the world!

I can ship it anywhere in the world for only $20 plus postage. Postage
should not be much because the darn thing is so light!
