Nimslo differences?

I've been doing a bunch of looking for a REASONABLE price Nimslo, and 
hopefully have at least one lined up. However, I'm confused as to
the differences in features/desirabilty of the UK vs Japanese versions.
One thing apparently is the ability to force a B shutter opening by
reversing the batteries (but which one?). Are there any other 
substantial differences? How do you tell 'em apart? (aside from the
accent :-)
