Billions of lenticules

George Themelis asked about meanings of the word "billion".
In America, a billion is a thousand million. In England, that number is a
milliard, and a billion is a million million.

I don't remember the precise details from Bill Ewald's speech, but the
reason Lo's lenticular prints were so good was that the shape of the
lenticules was so precise, with a razor-sharp "valley" between each pair of
ridges. This had something to do with the manufacturing process, which
would have been totally impractical for mass production.
