There have been several posts recently about suppliers of new lenses for the making / repair of stereo scopes. Having been on this trail recently, I can assure you it is a frustrating task. 

I was searching for a pair of lenses to repair an old stereographoscope and was directed to the following company as a possible source.

Optimax has the capability to produce the lenses your require. In the absence of
a formal engineering drawing we would like to get a sample lens (even if it is
bad condition) to evaluate.

Budgetary price for two units is $2000 with 6 week delivery. Price and delivery
time are negotiable.

I finally located the lenses needed for $6.00 from Edmund Scientific. They were
an exact match in dimensions and were much better in quality than the original.

The Rochester show was great and I found several items of interest including a box
set of Montana stereoviews by N.A. Forsyth, whose work I am especially interested in.
