Re: Mars in 3D

The planning for that mission was based partly on the prior work done by
Mr. Jessie Schreiter of Army Map Service who determined the spin axis of Mars
from a series of images taken while approaching the planet.  The images were
kinda stereoscopic, and Jessie derived the equations and methodology himself.
