Dennis Hall and Philip Johnson recieved a Patt. (5,398,131) for a full
color stereoscopic hard copy process using two groups of polarizing
inks. These are overlayed to produce a single sheet, imaging a stereo
pair.

More information can be had from the SID 90 Digest, 1990:
"Polarizing Color Filters Made From Cholesteric LC-Silicones", pp.
110-113, by Robert Maurer et al., and,
"Novel Polarized Liquid-Crystal Color Projection and New TN-LCD
Operating Modes", pp. 324-326, by Martin Schadt and Jurg Funfschilling.

Check it out.
