|just let the music play out to a logical conclusion before starting the movie.

Yes - this posting lets me whack again a favorite subject of mine - the
use of "voice overs" by HBO and others at the end of "uncut/uncensored"
movies which stomp all over the music soundtrack. It drives me crazy, since I
like quite a bit of original film music (as opposed to youth oriented
compilations which are becoming, regrettably, more frequent). And there's
no reason for HBO to do it - they've already got your money, and have
no advertisers to impress with ratings, and frequently have 5 minutes
or so to advertise "coming attractions" anyway.

I thought it interesting, though, that on a recent film on HBO (or
one of the other services) there was a title at the VERY end of the
credits which said something like...

"If any event occured which detracted your enjoyment of the
theatrical presentation of this film, please call ...."

and then there followed a contact number for THX/Lucasfilm.

Now, THAT was interesting!
