I had been hesitent to fiddle with it too much for fear of breaking it as it
seemed to be a control of unknown purpose. Well, last night I fiddled with
it enough and it poped off. Imagine my surprise when I found underneath the
wierd ANSI flash connector. It was a protective cover. I feel like such an
idiot thinking that it was a control, although it sure did look like one -
it had vertical and lateral play, knurled dides, etc.
How rare is it to have a Kodak stereo that still has its protective cover
over the ANSI flash connector? It seems like these would be rapidly lost.
