That's a very good point!  I always wondered about this word... It is made
up of two good words (both Greek BTW!), it sounds official, it does relate
to the instrument used for... It sounds darn good!  Both to say it and hear
it.  It is perfectly good word and it could very well be used for something
else...  Can someone remind us why it is (mis)used the way it is?
