mounting tip

Here's a tip to all you heat-seal machochists. Go to the stationary
store and buy one of those glue-sticks that have the POST-IT or
tack-a-note mild adhesive in it. Lightly rub it on the top,
inside-edge of your mount, where the chip's sprocket holes will lay.
It lets you easily re-lift, move, and retack your wayward chips during
mounting. The stuff also dries out quicky in the tube, due to heat or
air - so keep it cool and covered.

Personally, I've given up heat-seal mounts! Too many burnt-fingers and
curse-words! The goodies are now mounted in my prize RBTs, the
     runner-ups get shoved into slip-ins!
