The Stereoscopic Society / Amateur Photographer

This weeks (w/e 24/08/96) "Amateur Photographer" (UK weekly magazine) has a
four page spread on the Stereoscopic Society in it's club showcase section.
There is a good profile on the club, a brief description on "What are
Stereoscopic Pictures ?", pictures of a variety of stereo camera's and 14
freeview stereo pairs.
I would be interested to see how many new members an article like this
generates.
On a related point the inside cover of the magazine shows an advertisement
from the 25 August 1920 issue of the magazine for "The Glyphoscope - The ideal
Stereoscopic Camera for the beginner", is there any of these still out there ?
On a non-related point - Local shoe shops are giving away a Red/Green A3
size anaglyph poster (with glasses) of a basset hound when you buy Childrens
"Hush Puppies" shoes. Without prior instruction the "correct" shoes were
purchased by the wife for our 5 year olds new school term. The years of
training are finally starting to work and I knew there was a reason for
having kids :->
