Paul Kline cited the availability of a bunch of DFD bulbs. If they're dirt cheap or giveaway priced, you ought to check with the bulb sellers like Gray supply company (1-219-398-2362). There are a lot of vendors who buy old unused projection lamps for resale, and might cut you a good deal on a swap for projection lamps you *can* use if the DFD bulbs are marketable...
