I met with the Vice President of the company making the 3Discover many months ago. It is being made by the same company that makes 3DPUZZ, the puzzles that when put together are like sculptures, not stereoscopic. I had a first hand look at the prototype, and was quite impressed. I have since been trying to get info to write an article in Stereo-World, but they have not returned my calls or the editor of Stereo-World's calls for that matter. I can't say that I blame them, but they seem to care more about the general bublic than the stereo comunity. I was told that they had plans on having cartridges at Universal Studios in Florida to go with the T2 3-D show.

To line up the stereo pairs, I was told, there is actually a computer chip inside the viewer that controls the moter, and that is one of the main reasons for it being what I consider in the price range for working adults. Which is fine, I don't think 3-D should be considered only for children.

It was pretty popular at this past years toy fair in NY. I just think that they may have had trouble getting out advertising at this point.
