Probably went away when talk of "work" came up. One of the "requirements"
probably is to have a local group near the convention site to coordinate
as well as making the original setup inquiries.

In Vegas, there's a thousand places to eat where the food is okay decent to
great -- and all pretty near free (much cheaper than "banquet food"). So
long as one doesn't mind zig-zag walking by a zillion gambling machines
on the way to the food *in the back* (although Bally's very good buffet
is near the front -- somewhat the exception), food isn't a problem there.
Actually, even the lunch convention food at conventions I've gone to there
at the convention center was better than about any convention I went to anywhere
else. :-)

Nobody has trouble thinking about it, it's the doing that takes so much
time and energy. :-)
