The short distances don't bother me, it's the long ones! I thought we were
talking about a convention in "the West". Texas may be the West in John Wayne
movies, but to a modern-day Californian, it's quite literally half way across
the continent! And some of the other "western" sites I've heard suggested are
even further east. Hey, guys, they HAVE opened up the rest of the continent, you
know!
