V-M-Adult version of the viewer and some V-M-Adult reels
and they would have it made. >>
Brilliant! Consider that "Baby Boomers" are significant in the marketplace,
buying the "toys" they had or couldn't have in their childhood. With a
fine-quality viewer that takes into account a middle-aged adult's visual
needs, Tyco could reach this segment with a higher-priced model than the $4
"toy".
What subjects could we suggest for adult reels? Why not an annual Sports
Illustrated Swimsuit Issue? Athletes? Romace Novels (Fabio in 3D?)?
Nostalgia (scenes of real life in the 50s, 60s, and 70s)? I think the
hard-earned family image of VM should not be tossed aside by doing anything
pornographic (hard- or soft-core). Perhaps subjects they were unsure of
could be issued under a subsidiary like Tru-View, in the same way that Disney
has turned to racier than G-rated films by using (is it Tri-Star?) such.
What are your ideas?
PS: I'll be taking my Kodak Stereo to my 20th High School Reunion later this
year. How fun if we had taken stereographs in our senior year and produced a
reel for the Class of '77 at my alma mater. Could have been sooo much better
than our Annual!
Best,
Robert Linnstaedt
