Let me clarify this: The speaker is what brings the music
to your ears. The viewer is what brings the stereo image
to your eyes. No matter how well the stereophonic sound
is reproduced through the payer, etc., if the speakers are
no good your ears will not hear the sound at its best.
No matter how good the stereoscopic image is, if the viewer
is no good, your eyes will not see the picture at its best.

Yes, you do need a good stereo camera, like a Stereo Realist,
;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
but your next major investment should be a good viewer,
not a second good camera.

When David Hutchison wrote:

I bet he had a GOOD viewer in mind. A crappy viewer will not
give you this bright and crystalline image loaded with detail.
It will give you a dim fuzzy image loaded with optical
imperfections.

A good viewer will show you the difference between a good
image and a bad image. A crappy viewer will only show
you average images. The crystalline detailed images are
not there.

So, if you have a Realist and a $3 viewer, your next investement
should be a GOOD viewer, in my opinion, not a FED camera.
A good viewer is a wise investement... You will enjoy your
work more and you can always sell your viewer and recover
your investement. Your inferior viewer will be worth next
to nothing in the used market.
