Hi all!
1. In the Christmas JCPenney catalog (around page 600) there is a 3
lens lenticular camera being marketed to kids. It runs about $30 and is
form a company I have never heard of before. (I also can't remember
it's name...)
2. On the same page in the catalog there is a nice picture of the new
Tyco VM drawing projector. I believe they are offering a $3 rebate...
3. On a recent trip to PA I managed to squeeze a visit in to the NSA
library in St. David's PA. (It's at Valley Forge...) It took a bit to
find the place as it is really just a small, locked room in the
basement of the library of Eastern College. The librarian was very
friendly, and showed me into the library... I was overwhelmed by the
volume of things to see... Will have to go back again sometime... I did
manage to compare my book list to the books there, and found about 20 I
did not have, as well as about 50 covers I did not have pictures of...
One of these days I will get that all out on the web for all of you.
What a wonderful place... If you are ever near, you must go, but leave
yourself plenty of time... I was there for 3 hours and barely scratched
the surface.
Anyway, I would really like to speak with someone that is involved with
the library off-list about the library. Who might that be, and could
you please e-mail me? Thanks!
4. I recently received some lenticular reprints from Image Tech. The
reprints were much nicer than the original prints I received when I
sent in the film for processing. This time someone obviously spent time
registering every print by hand, choosing the focus n the subject.
Amazing what a little tweaking can do... If you have not tried this
system yet, you really should... It is quite amazing!
All for now!
