Excellent application - spherical geometry.  

I like to tell this story and I must have told it here a couple of 
times before but I never get tired of it (unlike everyone else on 
this list).  I have a friend who made perspective computer drawings
of the interaction of fields and matter in the sun's vicinity.  I
thought the drawings were very unclear and suggested he do it in 3D.
He did.  Had the slides made.  Bought a screen and polarized glasses.
It was an extremely successful presentation.

Being careful not to send them the nood wimmen reels, right?
