I think that VM has their hands full making reels that sell "in the hundreds
of thousands" to worry about those that might sell 500 or so. Personally, I
would love to find reels at all of the various museums, tourist attractions
and the such around the country. Charley Van Pelt will do his darndest to
get as many of these sites on board as possible, BUT he is only 1 (one, uno,
ein) person!!!! Charley has been pitching View-Master since 1947 and can
probably tell you every site that he has ever visited and what their response
has been. However, each of us has the opportunity to pitch a reel to any
attraction near or far that we come across. For instance, I have been trying
to get our local Cincinnati Zoo (one of the best in the country) to carry the
standard "Wild Animals" packets that are not carried at K-Mart and TRU but to
no avail. This does not even require special ordering, packaging or the
like!!! So how can we respond with the demand for more adult titles when the
ones that are available are not even marketable?

If every person on this board would ask at every tourist attraction "do you
have VM reels for sale" from now on, all the time, forever and ever it
probably still would not get them to carry reels. Sorry, but this is how I
see it.

A POSITIVE NOTE!!! There will be a new reel produced for the NSA Convention
in Bellevue!!!
