Well...mostly true...I guess twisting wrenches on dad's antique cars and
hot rods helped quite a bit...since we last talked I've CLA's the other
two Realist's and am happy with the results.  I'm also using that miracle
concoction (as prescribed by Dr. T) to put a shine on the chrome,
bakellite sunshade and other finishes.

I also slapped together a little jury rigged photo-transistor, light
source and oscilliscope to check shutter speeds on the Realists (and
practically any other camera). I was surprised how close the shutters are
to the dial settings....even at the top end.  A frequency counter with a
single gate trigger will work too.
